Google Reader Shared Items

Google Reader has been a target of critics in the past for some features like sharing feeds. I don’t mind about it, the feeds that I’m subscribed to are (maybe outdated) on the blogroll section.

But shared items have been a community accepted feature. We all love it. And we love it more since now we can add notes to shared items.

But some friends of mine have started giving misuse of that. They use it for sharing all their blog posts. A desperate attempt for catching more readers.

Please, focus on your contents. If I am interested in, I’m already subscribed. If I’m not it is because I don’t care. Don’t spam at me. Please.

Spammed

I hate being spammed. But what I hate more is being manually spammed.

I just received a mail from a student from UPC, a university in Barcelona. He has launched a website, and he spams some buddies and me frequently. Today I sent him a mail that cordially invites him to stop doing that, because that violates Spanish laws.

This is the mail I sent him back:

Estimado señor XXXXX,

Le solicito que elimine mi cuenta de correo de su lista de contactos.
Esto es información no solicitada, también conocida como spam. Si usted perdura enviando este tipo de correos, procederé a iniciar un proceso judicial contra usted por vulnerar la Ley 34/2002, de 11 de julio, de servicios de la sociedad de la información y de comercio electrónico (LSSICE), conocida también como LSSI, que en su artículo 21 dice:

Artículo 21. Prohibición de comunicaciones comerciales no solicitadas realizadas a través de correo electrónico o medios de comunicación electrónica equivalentes. Queda prohibido el envío de comunicaciones publicitarias o promocionales por correo electrónico u otro medio de comunicación electrónica equivalente que previamente no hubieran sido solicitadas o expresamente autorizadas por los destinatarios de las mismas.

Por si usted desconoce dicha ley, le comunico las sanciones que estipula el artículo 39:

Artículo 39. Sanciones. 1. Por la comisión de las infracciones recogidas en el artículo anterior, se impondrán las siguientes sanciones: a) Por la comisión de infracciones muy graves, multa de 150.001 hasta 600.000 euros. La reiteración en el plazo de tres años de dos o más infracciones muy graves, sancionadas con carácter firme, podrá dar lugar, en función de sus circunstancias, a la sanción de prohibición de actuación en España, durante un plazo máximo de dos años. b) Por la comisión de infracciones graves, multa de 30.001 hasta 150.000 euros. c) Por la comisión de infracciones leves, multa de hasta 30.000 euros.

Como ya demostré aquí, a mí también me encanta el spam calentito por las mañanas.

Este es uno de los que más me ha sorprendido últimamente. ¿Por qué aún hay gente que pica?
